Post UK M5 Meet

Hello all, Are there any M5 Owners that live over in the UK ? I live in the south east of England and would love to meet you with you guys. I would be so interested to see your cars and swap stories over a pint.
How many owners live in West Sussex ?

I'm based in London - there seems to be a meet up in Scotland but none so far down here. Anyone else interested?

I'm in Hertfordshire.
There was a "mini-meet" in this area not too long ago that unfortuantely at the last minute I couldn't attend.
I'm not sure if it went ahead or not.
I'd be up for a beer though

Alan / Gus,
I'll be up for a meet.

Alan, wow, you've got a Lotus 340R. A ex work colleuge of mine ordered one of those as an investment, not too sure if it worked though.

But, how do u find it ? Is it as exciting as an elise ? more so ??

ANd a Carbon B M5, Wow, two very fine cars.

I'm in London too (and often in Herts as I'm in St.Albans a lot) and I'll go to any meet thats reasonably close by.

The last meet did happen, with a grand attendance of 2 (me and Jerry)

ciao

Blimey ijam...sorry I let you down there but it was unavoidable!
Simon:
The 340R is indeed spectacular to drive, I've got the 190bhp upgrade which makes it very quick indeed, in fact gives it far more power-to-weight than the beast itself!
It will FAR out-handle any Elise and indeed the Exige...it's limits are insane!
If your mate paid list for his, then at the moment his "investment" will definitely NOT be working out!
May well do in the future though, as they gain a reputation on the track

Hi guys,

I pick the beast up on Saturday, I live near Uxbridge so a southern meet is good for me.

Gents,

Well lets say a day / date. I recommend a Sunday. Now where is a mutally easy place to choose ? How about Dorking ? Box Hill ? Huge Car park, Great Burgers ? Or Can anyone think of somewhere better ?

How about Sunday 15/4/01 - Box Hill Dorking ! 14:00

That's bascially about 3 weeks sunday ??

Spread the word to all users from the UK, see if we can get a huge number of cars there, I would image with the number of M3's / M5's on this site, the sight of so many together will be very impressive. See if we can better the US guys at this ! :-)

It also give me a week or two to polish my Evo. !

Guys,

I may be in Southampton from around the 12th to the 14th/15th. And depending on where boxhill is I guess I could swing by.

Or am I a raving loon and boxhill is hundreds of miles out of my way?

I havent checked any maps out, someone know better?

Scott
