Where to buy Castrol 10W60 in Atlanta

Any of you Atlanta guys find a good source of 10W60 Castrol? I usually get it at the dealership, but thought I'd shop around a bit for a change.

Re: Where to buy Castrol 10W60 in Atlanta

I've checked the usual auto parts stores and found none. Thinking the price would be about the same as the dealer, I've not shopped the specialty stores. So, I'm still paying dealer prices about every 5k.

Last time I checked, you could get the 10w60 Castrol RS ONLY thru an official BMW Service Center. Mobil1 comes closest to that weight with a 15w50 product, which I've used for top-offs in a pinch.

I got my dealer Nalley/Chris BMW to give me a BMW CCA discount on parts counter sales and full service oil changes. I've found the goodwill generated by paying for oil changes between factory-recommended (and paid for) intervals has more than paid for itself.

Nontheless, I'm a self-professed tightwad b*stard, so I'm always looking for a good deal. When I called around, I found the usual Roundel advertisers to have great pricing on a case of Castrol RS (The BMW Store in Cincinnati, to be specific). If I recall, they wanted ~$7/liter. And they would ship UPS since it's not actually an organic hydrocarbon product; synthetic was okay to ship, as I understood.

I never ended up buying any, because a generous boardmember (thanks, JonB!) gave me a nearly full case of the stuff when he realized his 05/00 Beast was a 5w30 powerplant. That, and my 02/00 production uses precious little oil between changes.... knock on wood!
