New RAM air induction system for E39 M5 :-)

Now that I have your attention...

Here is my answer to obtaining "real" cold air forced induction to the BEAST's lungs!

All you have to do is remove the bumper (at least for those of us with CAI installed)

btw: this is a pic of my BEAST without the bumper and the grilles awaiting the body man and then new paint and clear coat some time next week..

Did you have the misfortune of sucking some H20 into your intakes?? Ouch!! That must have left a mark??

What kind of intake is pictured there.

I see the first picture has the Dinan.

I called DINAN before I had the cold air intake added and asked them about water problems. Their answer was that it's not going to be a problem unless we are driving in deep water i.e. 10 inches or so. I live in Oregon and it can rain here from time to time.HA HA HA.. I want to know what kind of cold air intake is thesecond picture?
