Hello alltogether !
My father wants to buy a M5 E39. His first M5 was a M5 3.8 from 1992.
I do not know very much about this car because I'm more interested in cars
like Alpina and I'm even driving one. The only thing I've heard is that the early models of this car (`98 and '99 ) are not so good because the engines should be very instable. Can anybody tell me his experiences with this car. That would be very kind.
I must say that I'm really very disappointed of the M5 E34. I thought this car
is fast, but it isn't at all. Especially the accelaration of this car was very disappointed for me.
I hope for my father that the E39 is much better. My Alpina from 1987 would have no problems with a M5 E34.
Maybe some of you can even write something for what I should take care when buying a M5 E39. Are there any special engine-parts instable or are there any other wellknown problems ?
