They will not sell the aerodynamic pieces seperately? I find this hard to beleive, even ACS now sells items individually instad of a kit. I am sure if you spoke to them enough about how you just want the aerodynamic pieces and already have other equipement installed in place of their materials you can work out a deal. If not, get another kit offered by ACS, Hartge, etc.

I really like the Daytona wide-body kit on the e39. I would think that Hamann woud sell the individual panels. You may want to just have a body shop expand your current fenders instead of getting the Hamann kit.

Cheers.

PS Your website looks great.

thats for sure, his car looks great, better than Hamann bubble flares in my opinion. but if you really want the flares, call wheel power in huntington beach, they are the official importers. im almost positive they'll sell it to you without all the extraneous junk you dont want.

Seems odd to ship the stuff back and forth over the ocean (i live in Sweden)
I'll give it a go with the Swedish importer again, last year it was not "possible"
to by body parts only....

Re: Does anyone have a shortcut to Hamanns Daytona Widebody kit?

This is an insane setup, I was very close to pulling the trigger on this. It's true they will not sell any part individually, the install has to be done in CA by the importer of Hamann, and there is no room for deviation. I actually had to argue with them about not wanting the splitters, they are very strict about this I guess!
The car gets serial numbered, and my impression was that there wasn't a DWB E39 in the US as of yet.

The two things that turned me off were the price ( in the ball park of 30K) and the cutting out and welding in of the rear quarter panels of the car. But it sure does look good!

Re: Does anyone have a shortcut to Hamanns Daytona Widebody kit?

Got the price from the Swedish importer, they where able to now (first time)
to sell the bodykit only, the price incl. freight
(to sweden = close & by truck) is about 20,500 USD !!!!!

Yes you just read correctly 20,500 USD....

Note; I asked if there was complete fenders to just bolt on, but it is "weld"-on extensions..... a bit pricy don't you think?
