Just thought I would try and help a car find a home. There is a new '03 M5 still on the lot here in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Carbon Black with Black. Sticker shows around $75,000 but they are probably looking to get it off the lot since it is now out of the showroom and sitting in the snow with the other cars. Anyone interested, please let me know and I can check it out for you.

Will being out in the lot for say 2-5 months not being driven have a major effect on how the car performs in the long run?
Yeah, it will always run "cold." No, I don't think so. Don't things get "preserved" in cold temps? Like putting your car in the refrigerator.

"Is it the sounds that make a BMW a BMW? A BMW is designed to be heard, felt, experienced. So our engines sing. Our steering talks back. And we insist on offering manual transmissions in nearly all our models for drivers who crave them. The result is an almost telepathic oneness with the car. Just as surely as you can hear a BMW, a BMW hears you."
I would think transmission fluid and oil gets frozen in the car things burst in the mid west cold and the car never runs the way it should. I don't know I could be wrong.
It was in the showroom for a long time (climate controlled), and has only been outside since a little bit after New Years. It just looked so sad sitting in the snow...

You think so? I think it has to be REALLY cold in order to oils to freeze. Only time Ive heard about oil freezing is in the battle of Stalingrad, and then it hadn't been that cold for 150 years or so. We're talking about -40 degrees Celsius.
I wouldn't worry about that. If the follow BMW service procedure all fluids should last many degrees below freezing point.

Talked to the dealer and he advised that they are going to dealer trade the M5 unless there is someone here that is seriously interested. So please let me know as soon as possible if there is any serious interest on here. Thanks!
