Software upgrade for Navigation Systems
Just wanted to let everyone know that there's a software upgrade available at your local dealer for the 2001-2003 NAV systems. It changes the color (seems more vivid with the upgrade) and gives you a "split screen" option. You can return the screen to full screen if desired. So far it seems cool. I did not know this was available, but when I bought my car in AZ and drove it back to TX, it basically "froze" the Nav system. The car could not figure out where the heck it was and the new TX area Nav Cd would not work. I found out that when you change primary locations, you have to get the dealer to reset the NAV system.

do you know what version you're running? The split screen option has been around for a couple of years, I think since version 17?
If you go to the 'set' menu, it'll give you the version in the top right corner (i think)
