Pics: of Random Metal cats(and resonators, not random)

I took some shots of Randoms cats to show, also are some resonators that are going on since the header install has made the B&B's VERY loud.
The resonators will be put on with v-band clamps so if need be I can swap from straight pipe(like it is now with the S/S xpipe) or for the quieter days undo the pipes and put the resonators in place. If it's confusing I'll post pics after it's done to clarify.
I had to slightly turn the cats for the pics because to much sun was comeing straight thru and makeing quite a glare, pretty much like looking directly at the sun.
As for the res. I don't know how much they are going to quiet it down they seem pretty straight through, internal dia. is just a smiget under 2.5".

Re: Pics: of Random Metal cats(and resonators, not random)

Tri,I still have the factory cats but during the install the intermediate pipe didn't "bolt on" as was supposed to.RDSport has a different pipe that connects the header collector to the stock cats(which didn't come with the headers). From what I was told the intermediate pipe that came with the headers connects up to RDSport cats.(Hmm?)
So the car had to be trailered to a muffler shop and they shure did a number while getting it to work and welded up.It looks quite shitty, so that's why I got the Random cats to redo the whole section. Collectors to S/S xpipe.
Dispite the 'gorilla job' the muff. shop did crimping it up and all the car doesn't seem to mind the restriction.
As for the SES light I sure hope not,I don't see why it'd be different than say the S/S metal cats Evo used on thier project car. But if it does I'll call the guys at Powerchips to fix it up.
I've never used the movie feature on my camera, maybe I'll give it a try and if it work post what it sounds like.

Re: Pics: of Random Metal cats(and resonators, not random)

Keith, the thing about those resonators is that the longer they are the more they reduce decibel levels. So to start reducing some noise you need it to be at least 14" long.
