Have any of you checked out Dinan's NEW clothing line.........
which consists of jackets, shirts and caps.

They say if you don't wash the shirts in Dinan's own washing machine that you cannot be guaranteed proper performance. Oh, and the one for the Z8 owners only has one sleeve, you'll have to have Dinan cut an arm off for you.

If you purchase the entire "S2" clothing package, you MAY look and feel better, but there are just so many parameter (re: dynoing) that no one but Steve Dinan will get the same output. The upside to it is that you will get the elusive "DINAN" iron-on decal.
I am just playing. Dinan has good stuff.

Dinan claims all of the articles are preshrunk, so the maximum shrinkage is 2%, but customers have indicated shrinkage of up to 20%. Apparently, different washing machines using the same detergent have different results, according to the SWME white paper (Society of Washing Machine Engineers)..
Glad Robert started this thread, do we see a clothing GB coming up?
Regards,
Jerry

I knew this would happen........
remarks like having only one sleeve and having to cut off an arm to match the shirt. OUCH !!!!!!!!!
Its all in good fun.
GUSTAV, I just communicated with the Dinan guys the other day, it appears as though Dinan is having a bit of a problem with their supplier/maker of the "ring & pinion". This backlog isn't just for the M5 rear diff, but also for the E46 M3 rear diff. The $500.00 rebate certificates are ready and will be mailed out in a few days, for the group buy customner to recieve. A "new" part number has to be assigned to the newly built M5 rear diffs. Once this is done, the rebate vouchers are out of Dinan's door and headed to the M5 GB customers.
