I thought the E39 section of trim types need some cleaning up to get rid of misconceptions and add in a few new pictures of trim that has yet been found outside of Realoem!

I've been working on refurbishing many E39 trim sets and along with that I have come across many interesting ones.

Some of the old threads have had mislabeled & double labeled sets, so I wanted let out all of what I've found. :)

Along with the thread I wanted to include Common name (if any), English name, and German name. Along with a link to RealOEM and short description.

If you spot any inconsistencies please let me know... I put a bit more emphasis on the more rare sets.

Credit to all those who have posted pictures from now to the past and Imola530isport for many pictures

I would imagine so. The red, blue, campagne i got from a previous thread and took it as confirmed since i was able to locate gray, black, and cinnamon. I would imagine the previous person did their own investigation.

This is awesome! I love seeing all the trim sets and just proves the ones I got from you are the best.

P.S. before and after pics soon :)

This is awesome :)

Isn't there a lighter birch? Maybe I'm confusing it with Natural Poplar, it looked similar.

I went from Bruyere Club to Titan Line and like it a heck of a lot better.

FWIW that English Rot looks different from my Muschelahorn even ignoring the color (assuming they used a different stain). Grain pattern seems more "separated" on the English Rot. The color is also much different and we can attribute that to a different stain being used sure but, the grain pattern also seems different. Similar but different... maybe the different stain brings out a different look. FWIW I don't know if it matters but on my Muschelahorn and the one you pictured the grain pattern goes lengthwise with the center console, the English rot goes widthwise.
Thanks again for compiling all this!!

Saw a set of Individual Natural Poplar on eBay the other day. Seller wanted over $1,700 for it though.

RVAE34 - did your black birch center console have the two rear tabs to secure to the arm rest part? My Bruyere and Brushed Aluminum trim sets did, but my newly acquired black birch doesn't? Not a big deal just wondering.

OEM Individual Arizona Sun Leather Trim

FWIW as most of these sets are now used and the center console and other parts are often scratched I can confirm the finish can be polished and scratches removed. I've used my Porter Cable 7424 and Menzerna Power Gloss followed by Power Finish. I took out all scratches on my stock trim and the shine is better than factory since a little of the orange peel in the aerosol spray gets leveled. I have not worn through on any of the edges and I believe the clear coat is quite thick. It's probably worth the effort prior to installing - the toughest part is holding pieces steady since none are flat and can't really be clamped to a table....
