Guys, we may be jumping the gun just a bit.... there has not even been a product announcement for the LE-30-- at least not on the lidatek web site.

Make no mistake--we ARE jumping the gun. Per my last phone call with Lidatek, they're shooting for a First Quarter 2004 product introduction! They've been conspicuously absent from this forum, b/c such dialogue tends to generate a flood of inquiries that makes final product completion that much harder to accomplish.

So yes, they do love us early adopters, but let's allow them to do now what they do best: finalize R&D and product completion!

Guys, a Lidatek sales representative will be active on the site any day now (he owns a E39!) and will clear out the confusions. And yes, from what I have heard a LE-30 upgrade offer will most probably be available

*bump* -- any word forthcoming from the Lidatek representative or from Bee regarding this GB? I have 30 people from the M3 side annoying me with a barrage of constant emails! Some information would be appreciated.

Ok... I need some clarification. Here was the original deal which, as I understood Beewang had ironed out with Lidatek, we were looking at...

deal as we had previously - 1/3 off w/ 50 plus units
Now, in the Group Buy section, the new Lidatek rep comes in and says:

Hello everyone! My name is Kit and I am now in charge of sales for Lidatek. I wanted to clarify what will be happening for the Lidatek LE-30 group buy.

The Lidatek LE-30 is not yet in production. We do not want to ship any units out till we have fully tested them and feel that the product is ready for production. This means you should expect to have these units in your hands no later than late February. Basically everyone on this group buy will be among the first to get the new LE-30. This allows time for you to have the group buy organized and finished.

To qualify for a group buy:

1) A group buy leader needs to be established. This person will be in charge of getting everyone’s information and confirming orders. The Group leader will be the point of contact between Lidatek and you.

2) Minimum order to qualify for a group buy is 30 people (Not Units)

3) Pricing: Retail on the new LE-30 will be $359.99
30 people=15% discount-->$305.99
55 people=20% discount-->$287.99
80+people=25% discount-->$269.99

4) Shipping and handling will be via ground, Flat rate $16.00
If you would like to buy more than one unit or need to have it next day air pricing will be available closer to ship date.

Who ever is going to be the group buy leader please contact me at kit@lidatek.com
So, did Lidatek override the original deal with their new deal or is the original deal still good? And if the original deal is still good, can we still get in on it?

Hey Guys! I wanted to make sure that there is no confusion. The original deal that is being mentioned above, was never agreed upon. I did talk to someone a month or so ago regarding the group buy, but never talked about discounts or prices. We mainly discussed starting a group buy. I apologize for any confusion.
And yes I do own a E-39. I have not done much for performance or exterior upgrades though. So far all I have done is HR sport springs and upgraded the stereo. 3 TV's and PS2+Sub. I did all the work myself and did a real trick install for the front monitor... basical when the monitor is closed the dash looks factory. I will have to post pics later.
