Well ladies and gentlemen, it has arrived and is now installed! My Kelleners exhaust arrived yesterday afternoon and I had them along with the SS x-pipe installed this morning at Midas in San Jose. Words can not express the way this exhaust feels and sounds. And i'm told that it'll get even louder once it breaks in......... I'll report back again in a couple of weeks after I drive around in first gear for the next two weeks
The install went fairly smooth. The first Midas I went to in Sunnyvale tried to tell me that it was a BIG job and would take a long period of time. I told him that I knew of people (you guys/gals) that have had this install done in an hour or so for around $100. He said NO WAY! I said alright, whatever, and drove off. The next Midas was a lot more relaxed. I was qouted $150, paid $140, and the guys who did the install were very relaxed. Cut, sand, seal, tighten, slip on x-pipe, seal, slip on cans, tighten, DONE!!! Very simple, and straightforward and this guy had never done one of these on an M5 before! He said the brakcets were off a little but he was able to make it fit nice and tight.
For those of you who are still waiting, you won't be disappointed.....for me, I'm off to drive around the city aimlessly with all four windows rolled down...

I also have an 2003 beast with the Kelleners and the X-Pipe.
I've had my now for approx. 6 months and yes, it did get louder as time passed. At this point, my wife thinks the M5 exhaust is offensive to the nearby neighbors. Yea, right....................
Like I really care! Haaahhh...................

Is it possible to install these on our own?? I already have the ss x-pipe installed, and I'll simply be adding the Kelleners to it. Am I going to have fitment problems?
Anybody with experience on this??

I am not an expert but from what I saw, it is fairly simple if you have the right tools and a lift of some type. My Kellener cans fit perfectly over the X-pipe tips. No welding, just a little sealant. My install went very smooth and took about 1 good hour.
this is how happy I am. I have not been happier since the day my Beast arrived.

The ones that give you the thumbs up are the ones that have goo taste in exhaust notes/sounds, as well as the car (M5).
Its the only way to go, Kelleners and the X-Pipe!

I couldn't have said it better myself. For us crazies, it truly is the only way to go.

Don't worry about the delivery down time. I'm sure once you get em mounted on along with all the other mods you have lined up that it'll more than make up for the few extra days you have to wait. You HAVE to post some sound clips once your uber-BEAST is completed.
