Guys, check this out. Need opinions on products.......

Go to this web site:

Then, type in into the search box either the part numbers or the item description.

HEAT SCREEN, item # 70311
(this shielding might be applied to our "stock" air boxes)

AIR TUBE COVER KIT, item # 70308
(this is a cover for our stock or aftermarket cold air intake systems)

What do you guys think??? Would this stuff be helpfull & effective in reducing heat soaking issues/problems associated with our engines?

Thanks for your replies.
Robert

Might be snake oil, and it might not. It would probably reduce the heat transfer to the air in the intake, but the question at hand is that is the reduction of heat enough to be felt while driving? You can be a guinea pig an get it, but IMHO it doenst look like it will make a night and day difference. If it was forced induction with a truckload of heat under the hood then it might help a little, but with the S62 I dont think it will make that much of a difference.
