to those who live in the silicon valley area:
complete bonehead move...I'm parked in front of Stevens Creek BMW, not enough room to park on street, so start to turn into driveway, but cut curb too sharp and scratch both the right rear and front wheel.
no dent, not very bad, barely noticeable unless you know where to look, but obviously, i have to get this fixed.
my problem - since the M5 doesn't have a spare, how do you get your wheel fixed? i've called a couple wheel repair places but they say I either have to drop both wheels off with them or leave car there, but they of course claim no responsibility for the car, so leaving car is out.
Has anyone had their wheel(s) repaired in the Bay Area, and if so, who did you go to and how did you do it?
My quote from Wheel Techniques in Campbell was twice as much as anyone else, $225/wheel, but two dealers I went to say they are the absolute best.
