Sorry This is late folks...it's been a busy day.

I want to thank all who showed up form both forums, the M.B. and M5 forums. Thanks for all the people who made it fun and Hope to see you all again real soon.

I'm going to post the pics below each caption. Just click on the picture to view it.

Here goes.
First of all, the AMG challenge was met. They showed up with some heavy Iron. 2 new E55's including Rave, but he didn't race, and Rick(5439cc)showed up with his CLK 55.

The competition was stiff. The E55 was sick sick sick

It ran a 12.6 at 111 mph

The car still had a temp in the window. The guy, who's anme escapes me, and I apologize.He said he's waiting for the Renntech pullies and reprogram and exhaust.

The Racing was good, but that E55 was an animal. He ran a 12.6 at 111 MPH. We got toasted. My best was a 13.2 at 107 and MikeNJ ran a 13.1 STOCK

I drove Mike's M5 and it feels like the fastest stock M5 I ever drove.Mike, you got a great platform from which to start some mods buddy

You can imagine my suprise when I ligned up with this old Buick and he bounced on me at the line. I got 'em though. A 13.4 to my 13.2 :p

My final time slip....13.2 @106.9 MPH.....Not bad. Better than the Dinan car though

I'd say 13,1 is a great time form a M5, good work

Thanks Gustav, but I have some new mods in the works for my beast over the winter that will make the E55 look slow

This was fun. Never been at 1/4 mile track "competing". First run with tires at 45 pressure!!!!!! That was interesting. Next time got better, actually end speed was 107.2, not bad for Dinan 1. Didn't burn the clutch, but spinned the wheels a lot. I was blown away 3 times by Supra at 11.4-11.5 and end speed of 121.79. Beaten by Manny too!!! Well, some more octane, good tire pressure and little longer on the clutch, lets see next time. I guess despite my lack of experience, there is no lack of enthusiasm. My next post.... when I'm under 13.

and under 170lb.
AMG, no wheel spin, how about that. No comment. My stealth beast over any AMG, any time, except on the track I guess.

Crowd was great. But nothing without Manny!

Thanks for the photos. It is nice to see so many M5s on the drag strip. I really like seeing M5 owners use their cars to the fullest.
