a few pics of my Sound System

hey everyone, i finally got the chance to put up some pics of my sound system.....sorry bout the delay, and also about only putting up a few pics....as i will take more.

the system consists of components:

Kenwood 910DVD Head Unit
JL 1000/1 Mono amp for the Subs
JL 300/4 amp for the Mids & Highs
MB Quart Q-series all around mid & high speakers
(2) JL 10w7 Subs
Sirius Satellite receiver integrated into headunit control

the system was custom installed into a plexiglass box with neon lighting inside. the front dash piece was originally molded from the factory nav trim ring, and then modified to accept a standard DIN radio.

Here is the link to the pics:
enjoy!!!!

That's a nice piece of work. I have not kept up with all the car electronics. I like the GUI type screen. Is that configurable display matrix so that you can customize the position of the buttons, change display text etc? Not sure if they have even got those to that level yet.

This stuff has come along way. In High School I had an 8-track player. After awhile, the play head got out of alignment so I just jammed a match book underneath the tape...

It was a big deal if you had 10 watts RMS power per channel back then.

Nice system. I like the clean integration of the head-unit.

Cheers.

Jonathan,

nice bro...dont know how i feel about the neon but to each his own. I love the JL7's as they hit long and hard....

I really need a nice pro job done on mine but then again my car is about 1 month away from being a race car so there is no real need for it...my sub/amp are just fine, probably wont use them much after i get things taken care of
