BMW North America Website

Am I the only one, or do you guys have trouble w/the BMW No America website. I'm registered in the Owners Circle, and I've logged on before, but lately, it seems to be as slow as molasses!!! I have a cable modem, and things are usually lightning fast. Today, I wanted to send a priority Email, and couldn't get to that part of the site.
What's the deal?

I think it is one of the most unprofessional...user/unfriendly sites operating. It was particularly bad when I was trying to check delivery status.

i have also found it to be down alot and very slow at times. the updates on order tracking have also been slow. i am painfully aware of this as my car is being listed as in transit since 3/13. dealer says car is in port and being readied to be shipped to him.

You're right---it sucks. I just checked and my car is still listed "in transit" even though it was supposed to be dropped off to the VPC on Tuesday

Question: does anytone know if the status information from the dealer is gained from the same source as that from the Owner's Circle or are there two independent "feeds" of car status information.

my fear is that something happened in transit and now they are trying to fix it, otherwise the car should be out of transit by now.

I have to agree. This is an awful web site. It's horribly slow and frequently has HTML bugs that crash your session. I sent an email to the webmaster to give them some ammo to fight to get money to fix this site. I got an "automated" email back about 3 months later thanking me for my input. It's a good thing they don't make cars like they do software
