M3 / M5 Alpina Euro Trip 2001 starting TODAY!

Today johann and I am heading for Michael (B8 Guru) in the north of Germany to meet up with Klas, Nille and some others "M nuts".

Saturday 31/3

Visit Kelleners, dyno B8 and leave Gustavs car for tuning
Visit Brabus (urrk) , test drive SLK V8 (450 HP).

Return to Kelleners, pick up Gustavs car and drive towards Fulda
20:00 Dinner at the hotel

You know if we (us US types) were on a smaller continent we could do great tuner tours like Gustav and his regional friends, darn darn darn it!/// (please leave Russia out of the continent comparison equasion)

Hehehe, actually CarlT flew over from California to participate on this trip...
It's all a matter of commitment...

We went and saw 4 different ALPINA B12 5.7 Coupes yesterday... One of them had NO rear mufflers... It sounded like a very healthy Ferrari V12

Hey B8 Guru, If you have a moment could you guy's figure out the answer to the problem of what type of Air Dam Grill insert was used on the very first 98/99? Euro M5's ? We are trying to find/order them from here but so far we can not confirm that a grill was produced with all of the diamond spaces unblocked and able to attach to the brake air tubes. Thanx, David...C4@charter.net

OK, now we're are in Germany, in Flensburg.

Heading for Kelleners.

Status repoert is stonechip damaged two foglights, one headlight and one windscreen. Hmm, I better keep distance in the future
