Post How do I track my car?
Hi,

My car finished production. I'm looking at a print out from my dealer with my VIN number.

How do I track it now?

Congratulations and welcome to the Board. There are a couple of ways to track your beast. Your dealer should be able to provide you with shipping date and name of the ship, also when it should be ready for delivery.

BMWUSA web site has an "Owners CIrcle" that is kind of fun, but not as detailed.

Please check out the "Current Production" thread and the "Order/Production Summary" for a lot more information on trends and timing of deliveries etc. By the way, do you know at which port your car would enter the country and how it then gets to Colorado? I think this would be the first one we've tracked on that route!

Please feel free to post whatever info you are comfortable with on these threads. There is also a thread of "How Many Beasts on this Board" where Blue Max is tracking cars by country, region, color and username (Great Graphics)!

Again welcome and congrats...looking forward to hearing more about your car (not too much longer until you see it)!
