Fantastic writeup Gustav! After bumping into Steve Dinan when at his shop asking about a chip for a 1993 325is, I totally, agree, what a great guy. You know, next time you need an underpriviledged college student to show you around California, just PM me... I'm glad you had fun

I liked it, my back hated it and the Miata hated me I think In fact it made some weird behavior the last evening but I hope it's working now. It's a perfect car for twisties, since its so small, and with that superchargerm and strutbrace it was alot of fun, a perfect Highway 1 car. It pulled quite good on the highways, I surprised one Lexus IS300 and one Camaro with the roof down

However everytimg I saw a Boxter I missed the Boxster S, which I enjoyed even more (and it hated me even more than the Miata )

It was actually a spot for Miatas on the Concorso Italiano Maybe 1700 miles was a bit to long in that car, but it was great fun and a hectic 6-7 days. Esp. when getting stopepd by the police 4 h from when your flight leaves in the middle of nowhere. Turned out to be a good ending though. I will work some mroe on the reeport this week, have soem more pics incoming

I found my perfect California car:

http://www.bmwm5.com/articles/germany2/hartge2.htm

Esp. with those gas prices

gustav,

read and really liked the write up you did. I envy you as i have been talking with Sam from RennSport alot (as usual) and I am currently planning a little Cali trip myself at the end of Sept.

I hope that i can get to go to RMS as i would like to hammer out details with Osh and then when i get back send him my payment and then on with it

RMS -as well as Dinan- are true enthusiast and really enjoy what they do on a different level.

You should be able to see the M5 on the pics from RMS at their facilities.

I will post some more pics from RMS when I have them.

Maybe Jacob Lee can chime in on the RMS visit sicne he was with me. I also have alot of videos from RMS that need to be reviewed, so currently its more info on Dinan than RMS, but more info ion RMS will come as well as more pics from Dinan.
