Who has Dinan rear sway bar?

I would be interested in hearing your comments about it, especially if it's your only suspension mod. What setting do you use (i.e., which set of holes)? Do you like its effect on handling? Do you wish for more bar? Less bar? Does it now oversteer too much? Still understeer too much? I would like to keep suspension as close to stock as possible but the stock set up seems to push too much so am thinking about adding this mod when my BeastPower brackets arrive.

"Is it the sounds that make a BMW a BMW? A BMW is designed to be heard, felt, experienced. So our engines sing. Our steering talks back. And we insist on offering manual transmissions in nearly all our models for drivers who crave them. The result is an almost telepathic oneness with the car. Just as surely as you can hear a BMW, a BMW hears you."

Hey Need4spd;

I'll let you know as soon as i get MY beastpower brackets. I have a dinan bar (stage 3 suspension actually) on my 528. Once the brackets arrive, i'm going to swap the rear bar onto my M5. Otherwise, my m5's suspension is stock. On my 528, i have it set "full stiff" and with the camber plates and take off M5 wheels and r compound tires, it's perfect at the track, so I really doubt there would be too much oversteer. I'm relatively local to you, so if i get it done first, you could try mine out....

Dinan Rear Sway Bar

I have one as part of the S2 that I did.

I can't tell you the difference the sway bar made by itself, but I can tell you that the Dinan Stage 2 suspension versus the stock suspension is like night and day. Almost no roll when making a hard lane change, and when I make a hard corner at a favorite spot of mine I find I can hit it at higher speeds than I did before the change.

Hope this helps.

Jeff
