Well, for the outside of the Tips I used Happich Chrome polish that comes from Germany. I used a sock turned inside out and did the Ole' Shoe-shine style polishing.

On the inside it was a bit more difficult: I had to first wet sand, with 800, then 1200. After I dried the area, I polished, with my 2 fingers, the inside. It took a good 3 hours to polish all 4 tips.

Now when I wash, i have a special mit that i used to wash inside the tips. Every 4or 6 washes I take a little Happich Chrome Polish and hit-Em! Easy, Peasy.

I had my wheels done at Excaliber( Forgot how to spell it...) Metal Polishing. Don't go there, You will thank me later...

I actually like the "powder black" look of the inside of my exhaust. I purposefully try to keep it untouched for this appearance. BMW should offer this as an option for $500, then everyone would want powder black and chrome exhaust tips. Great job on polishing those quads!

For those of us with Aluminum and Chrome Products ...

"Simichrome" Chrome Polish ... is the name that it goes by.

Chances are if you go into a store and asked for Happich ...
they would probably look at ya little funny.

At least ... that's what happened to me.

I just call it ... Simichrome! It's Grate Stuff!
