Post Saw another new M5 owner take delivery..

Nothing beats the excitment generated by the purchase of this vehicle. Couple was just itching to get the car out on the street. Pointed them to this board for more info after the salesman took them over to my car.
Looks like Dinan may have a new customer soon as well!
Now if I could just remember their names!
Anyway, WELCOME and ENJOY!

Hey Mark.. got a quick question... ok a couple of wuestions for you pertaining to the Dinan Exhaust:

1. Are the tips any larger than stock?
2. How is the sound in real life, compared to SS and BandB??
3. Is the sound overpowering?

I really want to get the Dinan exhaust, but I really wanted to get some feedback from owners.

Tips are slightly larger than stock.
Super Sprint (to me) is not much different than stock. Prettier tips and a little more noise at throttle.
B and B I have never heard so cannot compare.
Dinan has a very agressive note. Very noticable at WOT. Also at low RPM (1500) in gear you can get some droning. But it's not bothersome to me. I enjoy driving through parking lots and giving a little rev to set off the car alarms!

Just a little note, I heard Marks car accelerate at what sounded like maybe 1/3 throttle and it sounded INCREDIBLE!!! Me and my friend's mouths dropped to the floor. It had a very aggresive but refined and nice tone. Very Very nice, perhaps someday I'll hear a full power takeoff. BTW, Mark, this was when I saw you pull into the Laudedale Imports service.
