Post New M5 Commercial (please vote)

You may need dsl for this one, but it really shows the stuff our cars are made of!!!
Please post your opinion of this 30 sec spot me and my friends created. We shot it on the same roads as the "la drive" route a week earlier (in malibu).
we just finished cutting this weekend and hope you all will like it. www.g4films.com/m5-4a.mov
thanks for your comments good or bad

Randy

Hey! you have some "subliminable" frames in there... And who da babe?

Kidding aside, this is very very nice! Good production values as the say in the Biz.
What are you going to do with it?

Arie.

It was shot on a 16MM arriflex, black and white (contrast pushed), processed and transferred to 3/4 inch then edited on a final cut pro system. the "babe" is an actress friend of the cinematographer. We shot it in the hills of malibu a week before the la drive meet we all did. I drove the car, boy it was fun. Thanks for your reply!!!!!!!!!

Awesome. Can you make a M5 movie now? The 30 sec commercial is not enough. I want more.

Later,
Kenneth

Looks really good... I can just imagine the kind of driving u guys get to do over there. How much would it costs to produce something like that?? Why don't u sell it to BMW and then buy some toys for the beast??

In the "hollywood world" a production of this type could cost a bundle. Its all about who you know and "yada yada yada" The camera as i stated below is a professional 16mm Arriflex unit with all the attachments. the transfer was done on professional grade 3/4 tape and the editing was done in a 150k editing bay.
then you add all the talent, producers, writers, sound engineers, directors, cinematograpers, actors, stunt people, lighting people and all the support staff you dont ever think about. Some companies have spent more then 1/2 mil to get productions like this done, obviously we did it for less because of the access we have to all the equipment, acting talent, filming talent and awesome post production editing!!!!!!!
