Great work! I did not read your post carefully befor playing the clip and did not realize it wasn't an actual commercial until the end as it did not directly advertise. Very, very good. You "fooled " me.

Randy, great video. I liked it more then most of the "Hire" series. Your video will be a great calling card for you and the director. Please bring on the sequel!
Hi Guys,
Is BMWNA aware of this video? I seriously think its good enough to be aired on national TV. Maybe some one should forward the video to BMWNA so those guys can see just how wonderful of a machine the E39 M5 really is, and it could also be the video producer's calling card to fame?!? Making BMW car commercials for BMWNA?

I dont think BMWNA would ever advertise for the M5.... there really isnt a point, since the car doesnt need to be sold, people buy them becuase they love it and already know about it, not becuase they saw an ad. Airing commercials isnt cheap, and BMW has a lot of other models they need to advertise for before the M5... One of the whole points of the hire series was that BMW didnt want to spend all their money on TV spots, so they had Fallon|Minneapolis come with an idea, and that was the internet mini movies, and the Hire series has been noticed as one of the best advertising accomplishments for a long time...
And BMWNA doesnt handle their advertising, Fallon does... or atleast a huge majority of it, and they have been since the mid 90s. BMWNA just picks which ones they like, since they fork up the $$$$
But randy did make a great spot, and it would be good enough for TV, I just dont think it would be necessary...

For anybody who declares soup cans to be works of art or suggests closing a whole department store
and keeping it as a museum, considering a car as a rolling work of art is more typical than unusual.
