HELP: How can I get a swatch of Sepia? - The Unofficial BMW M5 Messageboard (m5board.com)

Can anyone help me with this?

Neither my dealer's sales manager nor their parts manager can secure a colour swatch of Sepia for me. They (and I) have pursued BMW-GB on the matter and they say simply that that none are available. Even BMW-AG in Germany appears unwilling/unable to produce the requested sample.

Surely someone (M-GMBH, BMW Individual, somebody?!) can come up with a simple colour sample.

Apparently I'm supposed to order a colour without seeing it in person

I have the Individual brochure but this doesn't show the colour properly as it's pearlescent; photos don't do it justice either.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I don't know how to help you get a swatch of Sepia but I can tell you that my pictures do a good job of representing what Sepia would look like in person. Let me know if you want the high resolution pictures that I've taken. Are you planning to order another BMW with Sepia if it works out to your liking?

Thanks Jason. Yes, I'm considering Sepia for my E60. I think the new car looks better in dark colours (but I've yet to see any up close in person). Carbonblack is beautiful but very high maintenance and the subtle pearlescence in Sepia appeals to me.

Having seen it in person, what are your opinions of Sepia?
