Current and future Powerchip customers:
I would like to correct an erroneous statement that I made in a different thread "POWERCHIP -- the BEST mod for the $$$ (
http://www.bmwm5.com/vbulletin/showt...threadid=33239 and thought it important enough to start this new thread stating the facts.
The misunderstanding was regarding answers to questions that were emailed but not received (my mail server had no record of their receipt). Wayne at Powerchip did some hunting and proved to me that Powerchip did indeed send answers to my questions within 24 hours. Wayne demonstrated to me that Powerchip is committed to excellent customer service and support, and I have no reason to doubt that anymore. Thank you, Wayne, for taking the matter into your hands, and I am sorry for the trouble it caused you.
In another correspondence with Powerchip, I mentioned that is was a "couple of days" since not getting a reply from Powerchip, which was incorrect. It was only 27 hours 30 minutes. On a practical level, not getting a response within a day translated to a "couple of days" for a response (in my mind

). It wasn’t fair though, because there was a weekend in there as well as a 4-hour time-zone difference.
The glowing praise from satisfied customers on the board speaks volumes for the product and the company. It is those same customers that I trust for product (codeword "mods") recommendations. Powerchip is one of those companies that deserves recommendation, and I apologize if I mislead anyone. I just wanted to set the record straight.
