POWERCHIP Customer Service:

Current and future Powerchip customers:

I would like to correct an erroneous statement that I made in a different thread "POWERCHIP -- the BEST mod for the $$$ (http://www.bmwm5.com/vbulletin/showt...threadid=33239 and thought it important enough to start this new thread stating the facts.

The misunderstanding was regarding answers to questions that were emailed but not received (my mail server had no record of their receipt). Wayne at Powerchip did some hunting and proved to me that Powerchip did indeed send answers to my questions within 24 hours. Wayne demonstrated to me that Powerchip is committed to excellent customer service and support, and I have no reason to doubt that anymore. Thank you, Wayne, for taking the matter into your hands, and I am sorry for the trouble it caused you.

In another correspondence with Powerchip, I mentioned that is was a "couple of days" since not getting a reply from Powerchip, which was incorrect. It was only 27 hours 30 minutes. On a practical level, not getting a response within a day translated to a "couple of days" for a response (in my mind ). It wasn’t fair though, because there was a weekend in there as well as a 4-hour time-zone difference.

The glowing praise from satisfied customers on the board speaks volumes for the product and the company. It is those same customers that I trust for product (codeword "mods") recommendations. Powerchip is one of those companies that deserves recommendation, and I apologize if I mislead anyone. I just wanted to set the record straight.

-Bill

Bill,

We appreciate your setting the records straight. I believe in the 'tell it like it is' mode of communications.

Sysko,

As you are in the LA area, I suggest you just go to Powerchip, or EVOpsort, directly for your install. It takes 30 minutes max., unless you have a long Q&A session, and everything would be done right with assurance.

Enjoy the Power Chip, it's a heck of a piece of software.

Bill,

Im happy to see you setting the record straight and I did when i had a small miscommunication problem with powerchips on my initial install.

I too corrected some less than professional statments that i had made and im glad that powerchips has come through to again make things right on their side of this situation.

Nice Bill,

I submitted a question on the switch mod to the powerchip a few days ago and even before their personnel replied, Wayne personally wrote me an email answering my questions right to the point. I just wish that there is a BMW dealership that's like this

I believe that members of this board do justice to the companies. There are a lot of posts discrediting many dealership, but we also give companies the credit they deserve. And in some cases like this one, clear up some misunderstandings. This is by far the best messageboard.

Great job Bill, and thanks for clearing things up. Powerchip is one great product and their service backs up their product 100%. What can I say about Wayne? One great guy knowing how to satisfy his customers and keeping them happy and come back for more of his fine products!

Hey Bill,

Kudoes for clearing that up.

Now as Penance, you should not be allowed to purchase the Powerchip. How on earth are we supposed to beat 12.86 if you start improving on it. J/K

How cool would it be to post a 12.7 and match the S2 Claim.

Here's their site.

http://www.evosport.com/home.html

They have all kinds of 'goodies' for our cars. A visit is like a kid in a candy's store. I highly recommed it.
