Sharif,
the cars on the crystal guard site belong to z8tako on this msgboard. I ran a search and found that aside from z8tako, chunpng has also tried crystal guard and seems to be very pleased with it. Here is the link
I do have Crystal Guard on my car. Being a Silver car, it's not the optimal use of the stuff. I am very happy with the results though.
Tako's shop Auto Exotica sells that stuff. Since I had my car done, TFung and Atomic80 had both gotton the goods. I have not seen their cars with CG applied, so I hope they will chime in as to their satisfaction.
If you have a dark color car, it's a very 'relaxed' way to get a 'knock-out' shine. I highly recommend it.
Would you guys believe I STILL haven't had the chance to put the CG on my M5 yet! I might have a chance to finally put some on this coming weekend when I take my car down to the Portland Baxter Historic races.
I was a convert after I saw Tako's beautiful cars in the showroom during my visit last spring. Thanks Pong!

Chunpng: Not optimal in what way? Is it "showroom shine" after a wash and a towel dry (as claimed in previous threads)? Or that you don't see the difference?
TCM has used Cystal Guard on my car in the US... I wasn't there to see the effects, but he swears to me that it has made a huge difference.... I've seen pictures of it afterwards, and I'm quite impressed as well.... I'm sure he can tell you more about it...

Yes, I applied the sample Crystal Guard Kit to tfung's M5. It definately makes the paint darker and shinier (similiar to a polymer wax). After which I applied some heavy white carnauba to give it a deeper reflection and shine. I was very impressed. The thing is that Crystal Guard needs to be applied within the first 5000 miles as the surface needs to be scrath and chip free for best results. I have pictures but have not had time to upload them yet. If anyone would like to see them I can email them to you. Hope this helps.

Darker colors, like carbon black, or black, really shine like mirrors when detailed and waxed. Lighter colors, like white and silver, do not have that mirror-like reflective quality, no matter how much waxing/buffing you do. That's what I mean by not 'optimal'.
The car shines after washing/toweling, just not as shiney as a black car.
I am doing busy in Japan to start TV commercial for CG products... I just got endorsement agreement with a famous Japanese racer Keiichi Tsuchiya.
BTW, I am selling my Tuscan here... It's breaking down too much.. And I just got 996TT for a replacement....

tako,
I couldn't help but notice that you have TWO 360 spiders?! Am I just stupid, or have you always had two? I thought that you only had the California blue one ...
