Not sure about the tinting, but the best detailer, bar none, is Erich Lipinski.

For everything you could ever want to know about Erich, plus lots of photos, visit the following thread: http://www.bmwm5.com/vbulletin/showt...threadid=16275

To answer the inevitable question: He can be reached at e.lipinski@worldnet.att.net.

I got mine done by Steve at Eclipse Tinting in Fresh Meadows, NY.

I like it, except for a couple small bubbles in the rear passenger side window...And, he has a fake M5

I second....

young-nyc's recommendation of Matt at Detailing Dynamics.

Very professional, careful, great work, but don't know if he does tinting. He did my clearbra and everyone (so far) who's seen it comments on how well it was done. He detailed the car 3-4 weeks ago and it still looks like it did when it came out of his shop.

Besides, Angus has got to eat.

I strongly second that! I have had him do mine twice. He is truly amazing to watch. What he does with Zaino is fantastic!

I watched and learned as much as I can from him. After some schooling I can do my own car now to about 50% of his standards. 50% of Erichs results would be where about 95% of the detailers out there will get you. I simply don't know how he does it!

And yes, He is a great guy too.

Hey Dave! How was your trip?
