License Plate frame

Any recommendations? I would actually prefer a simple black frame that is as narrow as possible with 4 mount holes. Unfortunately nobody has this animal. BMW has one close, but they want $30 for it. I prefer simple.

Any other suggestions? Trying not to spend a lot on a plastic frame. Its a principle thing.

That was exactly the frame I originally used on my Oxford Green 540i. I switched to the same style frame but in chrome for my Beast. Initially I was concerned that it would be too flashy but in fact like a good tie, it picks out the chrome around the BMW badge. BTW I debadged the M5 but I think Chrome frame would have the same effect. I like it. I tried the black but I thought thin black was a bit passe and maybe a bit ricey. I think I got it at Pep Boys.

Yeah, I couldn't spend $30 on a plastic frame either...so I purchased one for $400 from Lidatek. They threw in a free integrated LE-10 laser jammer to sweeten the deal. I guess wires protruding from your frame isn't exactly "simple" though, eh?
