Do Rogue transmission mounts cause noise?

I emailed a local dealer and they said that indeed, the Rogue transmission mounts help out a LOT. He said there is a definite improvement from them - but they make a small amount of in-cabin noise from the increased stiffness.
Is thsi true at all for you guys? Have eyou noticed ANY increase in noise from the transmission mounts? If so, how much? (Im usin stock shifter btw)

I did not notice any noise increase in my car, nor did my wife. And to this point, none of my customers have noticed a noise increase from the R.E. tranny mounts.

And we insist on offering manual transmissions in nearly all our models for drivers who crave them. The result is an almost telepathic oneness with the car. Just as surely as you can hear a BMW, a BMW hears you."

          Hey Beanboy,

There is no noise from mine whilst its in gear. The only noise is the Snik Snik of pulling out of gear and putting in gear. Its kind of cool.

But there is no vibration or any noise like that.

          Regards Mark

To be honest, I've been hearing a lot more transmission "clunk" Since I've installed the mounts. Even in reverse I'm hearing tranny noise. Coincidence?

          Hey Lupo,

You do realize of course that with a short shifter, you still have to push the clutch in before selcting gears.

Now that you mention it, my Beast has more "clunk" since the mounts have been installed - not like my M3, but still audible. I also have some buzzing of the Autosolutions SS, but much less so than before the mounts and purple stuff.

No increased noise for me with the mounts...just smoother and more accurate shifts. I think Tony's hearing things. I've driven his car since he had them installed as well. His shifting is MUCH easier and I think there is less noise than before. His AS shifter made a "snick" noise before that is much less now.

No noticeable noise. The mounts still have rubber to isolate the tranismission. In fact I think there is more rubber than stock. I have not noticed any "clunking".

The only "clunk" I hear is my wifes head on the bed board. (j/k)

But in all honesty, I have not noticed any increased sound/vibrations from the mounts.
