I would like to set the amount of tilt that is applied to the right side mirror when backing up. The default tilt angle is too acute, and does not allow me to see anywhere near the wheel when in reverse. I thought I read that this could be set/programmed. Thanks if you can help...

No, I think there is a way to set the tilt angle that flips to when in reverse. Interesting that Chevy seems to have extended a feature that BMW has been doing for years...

Well, that feature is not available on my 2001 M5. They might have added the feature since then. I agree with you though, the angle they have pre-set is pretty useless, which is why I never use it. If I need to, I just angle it down myself...
not settable, BUT - in case you didn't know - while in reverse you can cause it to raise or lower by moving the switch that controls which mirror gets adjusted. I needed this just the other day backing down a long narrow curvy driveway with trees on both sides - down to see the curbs, up to see where to go, down to see the curbs, etc.....
