The only thing that would keep me away is my annual pilgrimage to the Nurburgring. Unfortunately, the dates for our California M5 gathering conflict with this year's BMW driving school at the Nurburgring.

Luckily, I've had the opportunity to drive my M5 at Laguna Seca and I've driven my M3 track car at Sears Point. I know those of you that want to take your car on a track will really enjoy Sears Point and Carmel/Monterey/Laguna Seca is the best place on Earth for a M5 gathering.

What a great event, I'm sad I'll miss it.
