Simply amazing writeup Adam. I would give anything for a trip like that, especially with the whole family involved. Keep posting more pictures whenever you can, can't get enough of the Ruf. Also I feel you on the exam comment this is a rough time of year good luck with yours and thanks for the in depth report.

Thanks Dally!

DNA, i got the AS levels next week and today in 2 hours a AS French Oral..this is where i get to speak for 12 minutes about a french subject(in my case the french countryside)...to say that it is difficult would be an understatement..though im not nervous..an eery calm has enveloped me, one could liken it to what prisoners must have felt before they were executed...just expecting the inevitable!

Nah its not that bad!

all the very best

Post First post on bmwm5.com

Adam,

Thanks so much for putting in so much time, detail and effort into that story about the Ruf delivery. I actually ran across bmwm5.com from doing a general Google search for anything on the Ruf Rturbo. I had just seen an amazing video on line of this car which then reminded me of the Road and Track article back when it came out. That's when I went on the hunt.. anything I could find, pictures or video etc.. that would make it feel like I was sitting in one or looking at one in real life, or even driving one. Anyway, I've come across some cool stuff on it and your article was number one! great stuff.

If you are interested, check out the video I'm talking about at www.eaglef1.com There are three videos of legendary Derek Bell taking three cars around three different race tracks. The most fun by far is when he takes that beautiful yellow ruf, that you saw in person, around the A1 Ring in Austria. It's great because, when you watch all three videos, it is so obvious how much More fun he is having in the Ruf. He can't get over it himself and is practically giddy. And for Derek Bell, who has driven some of the most amazing cars in his amazing career, to just ooze with how much of a blast he is having in this particular car.... I can't imagine how it must feel to be able to drive or even ride in one... But you can

Well, anyway. This was my first post on the website so thanks for reading the long message. Have a good one!

Oi! Finals... I had my Lvl3 Spanish and Lvl2 English finals the other day... and my Lvl2 German final is coming up... I have it the same day as PE. What am I gonna do.

Adam, I am infitely jealous of you. That was one helluva experience you had. Not only getting to ride in a Ruf RTurbo, not only owning one, not only meeting Mr. Ruf, not only getting driving lessons from Mr. Ruf, gosh where does it stop!?! Awesome writeup nonetheless. I enjoyed every bit of it.

Oh yea, will your dad let you take it out and pick me up for a spin??
