Felt it here in Portland... It was a long one lasting over 20 seconds. All is OK.

Felt it here in Vancouver for about 5-10 seconds. I felt the vibration under my feet (through concrete), and my desk was gyrating gently as if it were on top of a washing machine.

Well, weird but I was in my cook training class at school and I didn't feel anything at all. But all the students on the third floor of the school said they felt it and they're desk were moving around. My mother got scarred because she was working at her homeware decoration store and everything was about to fall on the ground and break! But we're all ok!

Well... I hate to tell you this, but the East Coast really isn't immune to those things... there's been a number of "big ones" over here too! See links below.

I was there on business - 6th floor right next to the Space Needle. Stronger and Longer than any one recently (sans the 7.1 Loma P) in Northern Cal - lots of broken glass and stuff off shelves - TV made it look worse than it was - still all-in-all the damage costs $$ so I can see how they would amount in the $Bills - no word on any M5 casulties however - my Ford Taurus Hertz rental got a nice big dent in the hood from a pipe that fell - Hertz return guy didn't care in the least!
