My dealer rules

This is a follow up to this thread: http://www.bmwm5.com/vbulletin/showt...threadid=28692

When I demonstrated the clutch slip to my service manager, Robert Bath at Tate BMW, he wholeheartedly agreed that a replacement was in order, and that is what I got!

They also replaced the front rims because the paint was flaking, just like they did with the rear rims about 5000 miles ago

New rims and clutch: I love my dealer!!

Too bad all dealers are not like yours. I had to fight my dealership to replace a rim they damaged. We ended up spliting the cost.

Thats great news Nick, but don't be shy in letting everyone know which dealer gave you the great service.

Nick-

I know these kinds of dealers exist, because I used to get that kind of treatment as a matter of practice! It sure is great when they do the right thing, no questions asked!

Glad you got both your clutch replacement and your shadow chrome wheel replacements without a hassle. And thanks for plugging Tate BMW as one of the good ones!
