Thanks for the heads up on the show glowrider. I love Dream Car Garage as it blends traditional supercars with today's latest and greatest. I also like the fact that the fat guy (forget his name) actually discloses driver comfort for those of us that are larger then the norm. This was especially true when they test drove the Porsche GT1, or should I say did not test .

Speed vision, speed channel...as far as I know, all went under the umbrella of SpeedTV...Check www.speedtv.com for your local listings...The GP is also on at 12:30pm EST, nice appetizer for the race if you ask me.

How would you get the TIVO recording to the computer?

Bart, re TiVo to computer:

One way that works is to connect an S-Video cable from the back of the Tivo to the computer. You will also need to connect the left and right sound chanels (white and red ports) on the Tivo to a computer using a standard RCA composite cable. The computer will most likely need a video card w/ TV tuner capability. I have an ATI Radeon 9700 Pro w/ TV tuner in and out that has an adapter that connects to the video card and has S-vodeo and composite jacks. Just connect the Tivo and the computer, activate your video capture software and then just turn on the Tivo program and you should be able to see the program playing (and simultaneously recording) on your computer. You will have the option of saving the program in different file formats (AVI, MPEG, etc). I use MPEG format if I want to burn a copy of the show to DVD.

Hope that helps,

/Rich

Unfortunately, when I turned on the tube this morning, there was a thing for intercity shipping on speed tv. Was this the case? Was there a show on the M5? Love to hear how it went.

Well, I just saw the show and was a bit dissapointed by the M5 test drive. They talked more about the Dinan S2 package and Dinan rather then the M5. Had a couple good clips of the M5 under hard acceleration but they could have done much more driving of the car.
