Mark, nice analogy, enjoyed that completely. I bet most of these members have no idea what you are talking about though since that is a "country" song. Murph

I bet you didn't know it, But i'm a driving Enthusiast too, and if you care to take a dare, I'll make a bet with you. Now you drive pretty nice and tidy, but give the devil his due, I'll bet a Beast of Gold against your soul, cause i think my Benz is quicker than you.

The Boy said my names TRIFlow and it may be a Sin, but I'll take your bet, your gonna regret, cause My Beasts the best thats ever Bin.

Triflow wax your beast up, and drive your beast hard, cause the darksides broke loose with its forced induction and it snaps back really hard.

And if you win you get this shiny Beast made of Gold, but if you loose the Darkside gets your soul.

The devil said I'll start this show, and Fire blew from his exhaust as he revved up is darkside show.

When the devil finished Triflow said, well your pretty good old son, but sit back there in your big ol lounge chair, and let the Beast show you how its done.

The devil bowed his head because he knew that he'd been beat. And he parked that Golden beast on the road at Triflows feet.

Triflow said, Devil just come on back if you ever want to try again, I done told you once you son of a Benz the Beast is the best thats ever been.
Mark,

Great song adaptation! I was sitting here tapping my foot trying to remember just how the music went to match up with your words. Of course, it doesn't hurt if you know the song in the first place.

How long did it take to figure this out? Good job.

Mark

I'm so relieved that a few of you got it. I was starting to feel a bit silly. I thought that if they don't know the song, they respond by telling me to take my medication before posting.

I couldn't think of a good enough chorus. I like "Run Beast Run"

MAH It didn't take long as I know the song by heart. I'm showing my age now aren't I.

Fast6 Glad you liked it.

I got it and enjoyed it thoroughly. Thanks for putting a nice tone to the afternoon. Your song is a good take on the M5 ownership experience. The car really does have soul while so many other cars are loosing theirs as they evolve into numb, computerized and sanitized road capsules.

(Was it the Charley Daniels Band that did, "The Devil Went Down to Georgia"?)

I love that name! "Devil blinkers"

That happened to me once, confused the hell out of me. I turned the car on and off, lights on and off, hazards and blinkers on and off. I had to lock and unlock the car again.

lol... devil blinkers. That's a good one
