Proper Nav System/HVAC behavior

My Nav screen seems to have a mind of its own. When I start the car, sometimes the Nav screen will return to its last displayed function, usually radio. Other times it goes to the select screen. If I hit the radio button, the station will appear but without the "ST" in the upper right hand corner (sounds the same to my uneducated ear). Same, although less frequently, with the HVAC controls. Usually goes to last setting, but sometimes goes back to a previous setting. I assume it all should go back to last setting, correct??? Simple software fix ( I probably have older version)? Thx
Regards,
Jerry

Interesting problem - are you using the same key all the time or are you switching? If you're switching between your two master keys, then it sounds like "key memory" is kicking in and returning your settings to the last time you used a specific key, and not to the last time you drove your car...

If that's not it, I'm stumped...

Cheers
JJ

same key

jaj
Nope, I use the same key almost all the time. I take out the spare once in a while just to make sure the battery does not run down as per the Owners manual. I think I will set up an appointment with my SA and have the dealer take a look. Thx for the reply.
Regards,
Jerry
