Tire pressaure with 18" R tires?

What tire pressaure for trackdays with Yokohama Advan 048R?
Front 265/40-18", 9" BBS RC II rims.
Back 285/35/18", 10" BBS RC II.

The car is equipped with Ac Schnitzer DFC system.

I don't have any experience with the Yokos, but when I ran the Hoosiers (also an R-compound) I ran 41 psi in the fronts and 39 psi in the rears *hot*. Which means my starting temps were ~32 psi front and ~30 psi rear *cold*.

Since the M5 is so heavy, you need to run a little more pressure than with lighter cars. I wouldn't go over 42psi *hot*, the tires get very greasy and will not hold as well.

Thats an interesting combination of tyres Q.

Shouldn't you be running 35 series on the front with that width?

Dinan two recommendations are 265/35/18 Fr & 275/35/18 Rear

or 275/35/18 Fr and 285/35/18 Rear.

I'd Try 42.5 Fr and 37.5 Rear.

Stock is 245/40/18 Fr & 275/35/18 Rear.

But most when increasing the front width, drop back to the 35 Series.
