NOS dyno results!

Thats all i got to say...........Oh boy did it go good ...Let me start from the end!!! put it to you this way we raced a tecart TT996 at the end of the dyno ..and only lost by one car!!! and this car hass 510hp and a 100hp shot of nos .!!! at leave it at that video comin soon,.,,,, us side ways next to 996tt !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So off course we race a normal 996TT and blew its doors off before we moved up in ranks ...well my boss wont let me disclose the true Dyno results untill we finish dyno tunning is over next week ..but i have one i can share 485hp and 437.5tq ..... this is a 4th gear run with 150 shot and Borla exhaust and AA CAI......... Hamann Headers are still in box !!! Al motor we ran 334.6hp and 316.1tq ... So you all can see the diffrence with the NOS .........
I am not allowed to reveal 3rd gear runs but ill leave it at this 10%+ more the a 4th gear run ...Clutch did give also after 3 races with TT996 ...... so Clutch will be installed tomorrow or thur....we also need to lower fuel pressure and re calibrat the system we calcultate 20-35hp more ...when dyno tunned correctlly ...once done we will be over 565hp tq???unknown.. and this is only a hop skip away from what we just dynoed..............so in conclusion IT WORKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Ready to take order !!!! 2 people already have depostits ....call me if any questions !!!!1-866-51wheels x201
Also i can fax any dyno charts if nessesary i will scan and post them tomorrow!!!! Its to late here in miami !!!

Excellent. Just keep the fuel pressure up...don't wanna lean that puppy out. What bottle pressure were you running? Stock fuel system?

no were to rich!!!!!!!!!!! need to lower fuel by one nos jet to a 22 We put y ban to the car it can really take more NOS which we alreay tried but havent diclosd those # yet ..........and that fixed our rich problem ... this car runs really rich to rich actually!! thats how those computer companies make more power by leaning M5 out a little ..but for our sake a little rich is also good!!!!..Bottel pressure was a little low it was 68 out side today in miami,... and bottel had a few shot already out of it ..and fuel system is our own design...comes with the kit...

WOW

Amazing results. Are you going with a stock clutch next time or an aftermarket one, if it exists? What advice do you have about the clutch in terms of making it last with NOS? Really great work.

well active says they have a custom clutch for me they are goin to try tomorrow or thur ..lets see what happens...the only reason the cluch really burned was to much fun ...3 races with TT996 will do it to any stock clutch !!!! also the clutch isnt messed up i just wanna chage it for power sake ..its hold back up perfectlly as soon as the car cools back down ..1hours later.!!! lol!!so the stock clutch will work but jusr wont take crazy abuse like we give it !!!

Good point jmott, you would expect higher base HP numbers with the AA CAI setup. I wonder if they were running fans....
Of course even with fans you only get maybe 40mph of air coming in to the front.
I wonder if there is an accurate(or reasonable) way to estimate HP with a CAI setup assuming 80mph or 100mph air speed in front.

Very interesting

Good results. Still, I have to wonder about the long term results on the engine and drivetrain.

CAI results cannot be measured on the dyno with any fan I have heard of. It really works on the road with the ram air effect, but not on the dyno.
