About once a month if you include when you see one at the delearship. There not always there. Occassionly one might be in for a service or someone traded one or has it on consignment.

Sightings on the road are fairly rare. I think there is only about 5 in our entire city.

M3's I see at least 3 per week.

But M3's are about $60 K cheaper than an M5 Here.

Here in the Bay Area I probably see three per week easily. I would say even slightly more than I see M3's.

Does seeing mine every day counts?
Seriously though, I see two or three every day. That's including an E34 one that a co-worker owns.

At least once a day

Not counting mine and the one a neighbor has about 10 houses down in our subdivision...

I see at least one a day on my commute (about 15 miles each way) ...

They are pretty popular here in the Northern VA, DC area. Have yet to see a Z8 on the road and only a few 4.6 X5s (Don't flame me... I know that neither of these are Ms) ...

By the way... The Sterling VA BMW dealer has an Alpina Z8 on the floor under covers...

Do all Z8's have neon turn signals?

Frequency.

I usually see one or two each week in Nor Cal. That includes the one I see at the gym almost every day. Saw a beautiful black M5 last week on 101 north of Santa Rosa with a winery name on the plate frame...Anybody know who that might be??

man, i have never seen one until about two weeks ago when i went to dallas. here in wichita, kansas i know there's at least one or two, but i've never seen them driving around. but i get up to KC a lot too and have never seen one up there either. i think here in good ole kansas/oklahoma, we don't see many'a'dem real FANCY-like cars. Now ask me if I've seen a Ford F150. I certainly expect my 03 to draw a crowd of those who know great cars. It'll be interesting to see if that expectation holds true.

Usually up here in Lake Forest IL I see about 2 or 3 M5's a day along with many other cool cars. During the summer though I not only see M's but I also get to see many Ferrari's, and Maserati's since there's a Ferrarri/ Maserati dealership in the downtown.
