i had the dinan cai and just wasnt happy. it more or less robbed the car of horsepower, made the MAFS bad, and was the cause of alot of SES lights. so i put new MAFS on and stock airboxes. ive gotten my lost horsepower back and no more SES light. the question is, the stock intake under the bumper(where the air comes from) seems a little bit restrictive. would it be better to cut up the old intakes(dinan carbon fibre) and reroute the pipe to draw air from next to the fog light and then into the airbox? it seems like that would give it a form of forced induction on the highway. would it really matter? or does the restricted pipe use the air it really needs? thanks in advance,
josh.
