Foglight Bulb type

So I have been doing some searching in the board about
the Bulb type for our M5 foglight.
Is it 9006 or H7?
Are they the same?
TIA

that it is..

the fogs are 9006 no matter what year you have

the 99-00 models have 9005's as the high beams and 01's and beyond have H7s. IF you have HID lows- you have H7 highs

hope it helps

You may want to check out the Sylvannia SilverStar 9006 fogs. They have Xenon-like appearance at ~$45/pair. Not bad compared to the full Xenon bulbs!

i dont know about the bulbs

Catz is said to be a very good fog light/driving light company but i dont know a single thing about their bulbs. I do have a set of the silverstar bulbs that i had in the beast for a week and then replaced because they werent bright enough for my tastes...first 25 bucks takes both bulbs home. They were in the car for a week!

I am really looking to get rid of these bulbs so if anyone is interested....

For fog lights, it will be better to get the yellow ones (like Lexus) since they cut through the fog / rain better. However, if ur getting it for pure looks, the xenon-like bulbs will be great

I thought I already answered your question.

Can you really beat this:

I don't know about the rest of you folks but I simply LOVE having true HID bulbs in my fogs.
