Exclamation Word of advice for all of my comrades awaiting their BEASTS!

Apologies for starting yet another thread, but I did NOT want this to be buried in my previous thread.

Despite how we feel about the Owner's Circle status updates, they seem to have a better handle on the delivery process AFTER the cars clear the VPC. During the recent storm back East the 1-800 hotline was not able to provide updated information, and indicated that my car was not shipped out until the 18th. Meanwhile the Owner's Circle has been showing the 19th as the delivery date since late last week, and I had discredited this information

The bottom line is that if you would like to be present when that tractor trailer rolls into your dealership with your beast on board, better check the Owner's Circle update and plan on being there on that day! They know something that both the dealerships AND the hotline folks don't!!!

Enough ranting, better get back to work

Why is this information so difficult to come by? My salesman was able to tell me when the delivery truck started out, and the dealer delivery order. At my request the car was given to me with interior plastic still on, no road test, and within 1 hour after delivery to the dealer. So your dealer can please you if they want to!

Well, the Owner's Circle says my car is suppose to get to the PC TOMORROW. The 1800 people say it is still at the port, which i believe because it just got there last Sunday.

Only chance i'll get to see it roll off the truck is on Feb. 28. If it is delivered to the PC then, i will be there and delay my weekend to Hilton Head!!

This is a GOOD question! I'm not sure whether there was a systems foul-up due to the weather this past weekend, or that my client advisor just did not know how to access this information. She basically was only able to provide me info that I already knew from BMWNA.

I was told by the NA folks that their computers could NOT obtain a status update until midnight last night. Meanwhile the truck apparently left NJ last Friday towards the end of the work day and the info was not logged in until Tuesday due to the weather?! It still doesn't explain why they told me the car was shipped out on the 18th. I just can't believe they could make it all the way out to Minnesota in 1 day!!!

In any event I'm not about to allow this mix-up to spoil my FUN
