The following poll relates to how often you wax your car.

I wax once every other week, just not necessarily my car. I just started a car detailing business. Thank heavens for orbital waxers.

I know that those time frames are for the most part not accurate...sorry to be like this, but I only wax the beast when it needs it (no more beading of the water) or when she looks a little dull.

I dont fit into any of those categories

I currently wax the 740 every couple of months with the exception of the winter as she has been parked since early December. When I get my M5 I probably will wax more frequently.

Can you wax too often?

Never too often if you use right kind of wax.

I am with RareM5 - I wax at least once a month, more often like every 2-3 weeks. I just find that pure wax does not last that long for my tastes. I was also driving 80 miles a day, and washing sometimes twice a week

This winter I decided to try putting down a base of Klasse all-in-one and sealant. I have topped that several times with wax and so far so good. I am working out of the house 2 days a week now, so I will need less frequent washing. Of course that gives me more time to wax

Yeah Mark,

You should have started on weekly.

Until I perfect the process, its weekly. I'm hoping to get it down to every third week.

Wash every sunday. Wax every third sunday. Sunday is Beasting Day.

I have declared that when my Beast gets here, I will be unvailable every Sunday. Forever.

Every three weeks! Or at least a quick detail spray after every wash.

My '00 beast is a garage queen in the winter. It gives me the opportunity to layer some Zaino. Being a polymer and not a wax Zaino lasts for about three months under normal use. Once I have three or four layers on it all I need is some routine washing, QDing, and a coat or two every 2-3 months. The shine lasts pretty well.

I plan to use a wax on my upcomming '95 M5. Then I can decide which routine I like more. With a wax I anticipate every three weeks or so.
