Interesting modifications!
Remove roundels
Remove side markers
Add M3 gills
Replace gas door with a flush-mount fuel filler

I'd like to see how it turns out after paint. I wouldn't choose to do that to my car, but I can appreciate the amount of work that's gone into this one!

Interesting set of modifications. I plan on offering the fenders as a carbon fiber option with built in e46 M3 grilles or the e52 Z8 grilles. Replacing the entire fender with a CF panel is simpler and also saves weight.

I actually did a very similar thing with the front fog-light covers, but cut a large hole in the plastic behind the mesh to allow for more airflow to the Dinan CAI filters.

I like the fuel door, but I would prefer a simpler solution.

Cheers.

So thats fake carbon fibre? Is the only difference that it isnt as strong as CF, or is it weaker and heavier? It doesnt look bad... I really dont like te fuel door though, not really a bimmer thing if you ask me, which you didnt but hey... i told you anyhow

GUSTAV & other guys.............

There was one picture, which displays the fog light lens frame and there was a "mesh like grill" attached off to the side of the fog light frame. What was this for? Purpose???
Thanks.

Hi, this is Qvarnis who is rebuilding this car in association with a few companies around Sweden.

The mesh grill to the side of the fog light is because the front plastic net is also replaced with mesh grill and it looks much nicer to also do this to the foglights.

It's real carbon but placed upon the regular palstic. This is to keep the cost down because we are not chasing weight on this allready heavy hog but just want the carbon fibre look. I know, the real thing is better but have you ever compared the cost...[/url]

Look at http://www.itsfun.nu and click att "Blöjexpressen" for a look at how the fuel filler door looks on with paint and so on.
