Dyno Day

Any Chicago area M drivers want to do a dyno day in March. This was posted on Bimmerforums. It is going to be at GRD performance in Naperville Illinois. I think the price is $80 for three pulls on a Dynapack dyno. I think they have 4wd capability as well. You get printouts with A/F ratios. Extra printouts cost extra. My M5 is stock and I plan to dyno before and after each mod.

This is the way to do it. Good idea with the before and after dyno runs.

It looks like I may be doing a dyno run tomorrow in the Charlotte area if a friend is game for it in the AM. I know about fuses 17 and 30. Anything else to know? Tie down points? Whether to trust the dyno operator or be behind the wheel myself?

No tie down required with the Dynapack. Don't know what the point of 3 runs is unless you're doing tuning changes between runs. You'll start to heat soak after #1 since they'll want to do back to back to back pulls to get you off the machine and someone else on.
