Question, for the guys that recently ordered A.A.'s CAI system ...................

Hi Guys,
Did you guys get your new A.A. CAI system/grill as of yet? The reason why Im asking is because Im thinking about trying it myself, getting the setup. Does A.A. have these CAI system readily available in their stck/inventory or do they have to make them as necessary, based on their confirmed orders. if I placed an order will I get it immediately or will they tell me they have to put it together and so, I'll have to wait for the product.
Thanks for your info/reply.
Robert

Robert,

Hey man, when i had my CAI installed I got a nice little tour of the joint. They manufacture all their parts in house and it should only take them like 1 day (if needed to put parts together) to send a kit out. I know that they carry a huge stock pile of parts for the CAI and it should ship pretty quick. If you want to talk to someone at active call Rey at 305-233-9300 or drop me a Pm with specific questions/comments/*****es/moans/groans or complaints...

Robert,

Triflow knows more about this product than Autowerkes does! He is your man for information about it. My order time has been somewhat longer because of the group purchase. I believe it has been three weeks.

Mine is scheduled to arrive today and be instaleed Wednesday morning. I will post the before and after numbers from the dyno.

MARK,

It will be great to see what a CAI system gives to M5 engine.
Waiting for your dyno runs.

They promised 35HP! NOT. They did not say what to expect. Triflow believes he saw a 35HP increase. I will be happy with a 10HP increase. Measuring this on the dyno is difficult because of the nature on the forced air.

I'll let you know.

hp claims...

Mark,

Actually it was steve that said he felt alot of power...probably more than 20. I was only dyno'd about 10 but since then the car has gotten stronger (and holy crap! last night and this morning when the temps were 38 and below in FL). My average dyno runs showed >10 but my best only show'd 8. I really feel im making more power now....

Ill give anyone any info i can get...and if i cant give it, ill get it. If you want to talk to Rey directly call him or PM him at TKM3 on the board.

Good news and Bad news

All,

I did recieve my AA CAI yesterday, but I will not be installing it untill Monday the 27th. EVO was all booked up. You will have to have a little more patience.

The instructions indicate that it will take abouit three hours to install, but hopefully experienced guys can shave a few minutes here and there with the correct tools.

No problem MAH. Thanks for the update.

We are all anxious to read your conclusions, regarding the soon to be installed CAI system.
Thanks.
