Guys the race happened... and it was a big one! my Lamborghini SE30 vs. a mighty Porsche Techart TT that the owner first claimed was 520 hp !!
Regardless who was going to win.. The race was going to be amazing
Inorder to reach a middle ground for both car's best performance... we agreed that it should be from 100km/h (62mp/h) onwards...
I managed to pull ahead at the sign of GO as i was deep in my power torque in second and him just below his (in third ?)... I got out of second and third was engaged to see him up next to the my door.. The gear lever had to disengage third and start eating fourth about 2~3 seconds later
with the porsche right up neck to neck near my door...
He managed to pull slightly ahead (as i shifted and him being at high rpm) for like 2 seconds to see him fall back to the point where his bumper was next to my door... This all happened so quickly and the guage was knocking on 300 km/h and the gear begging to be shifted as it was at almost 7500 redline !!!
And down the lever went from top right position to bottom right to engage fifth to sadly see the Porsche pull ahead
.. He pulled and pulled away which made me pull behind him at about 2 car lengths to catch his wind stream .... Speeds was reaching 320 km/h and climbing really fast with no sign of me closing the gap
320 came and went... then 340 appeared and went.. a couple of seconds later 360 appeared as both were accelerating and keeping the same 2 car length's distance apart to right over the finish line..
"WOW that was one hell of a race" were the comments which followed by "they sounded like 2 jet fighters at low range"
Now here comes the shocker from one of the Porsche owner's friends... "That was a very good race with you staying closely behind the 600hp TechArt Porsche" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
